VR
Android + iOS + Desktop
Below is a collection of numerous virtual reality client projects, applications and prototypes I’ve produced with the Google VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift.
STERIS VR Prototype
Utilizing SteamVR SDK and Unity paired with the HTC Vive, I produced a fully immersive prototype from the ground up using assets I modeled for the STERIS Experience project. Wearing the VR headset, I placed the user within a virtual hospital environment with the added ability to explore and interact with equipment and objects by means of HTC Vive’s motion-tracked controllers.
Tarkett Infinies
As one component of Tarkett’s introduction of a new collection of luxury vinyl tile called Collections Infinies, we built a Google VR app for Android and iOS.
The app presents the user with a series of unique showrooms to explore and experience the flooring up close. They can also meet the renowned artists and listen to them speak to the inspirations behind their innovative designs.
Compact Power VR
When the leading commercial and light power equipment rental service company wanted to make an engaging impact at a key trade show, we developed an immersive and interactive Google VR game. The game served to educate attendees in a fun and engaging way by allowing each person to “experience” what it is like to drive a skid steer or to lift themselves 40 feet in the air with a boom lift.
Complete project case study can be found here.
EQT VR Tour
Immersive virtual reality experience produced for an annual EQT event targeting employees that don’t always have opportunities to visit job sites. Using the Ricoh Theta 360-camera we captured complete walkthroughs of two drilling locations. Through appropriate placement of dual GoPro cameras, we attained the ability to reproduce 3D photos of certain site areas when viewed through Google VR.
84 Lumber Tour
84 Lumber approached us with an opportunity to produce a virtual reality tour experience for their annual IBS Show in Orlando, FL. Using the Samsung Gear we visited three distinct facilities, captured footage, and designed custom headsets for an exceptionally successful and popular tour experience for the show.
PGH TechShop 360
Immersive Android, iOS, and Desktop virtual reality tour of Pittsburgh’s TechShop combining captured footage from the Ricoh Theta 360-camera and Google VR.
