UX Examples

Below is my collection of selected UX deliverables created for various projects over previous years.

Site Maps

A diagram of an application or website structure organized hierarchically. Sitemaps make it easy to visualize navigation and to ensure content is organized and clearly established for the user.

User Flows

A visual representation centered on the user’s perspective in completing tasks within a product. Usually attached to a persona and specific entry point, User Flows make it easier when trying to identify what steps could be improved.

Application Flows

A visual representation centered on the flow of data and information being transferred within a system. Application Flows make it easier when trying to identify what steps could be improved.

Task Flows

Related to a User Flow, Task Flows are visual diagrams centered on the user’s perspective in completing a task within a product, but this instance focuses more on a particular task. Applicable when the task in question will be performed similarly by all users.

Personas

Personas are reliable outlines of the target audience emphasizing demographics, behaviors, needs and motivations. Generated primarily to set a common understanding of the end-user in conjunction with the significance of empathy building.

User Stories

Short, simplified narratives and requirements of a product feature voiced from the end-user’s perspective defining what they want and why.

Sketches

Rapid method of envisioning and jotting down concepts for a new interface using paper and pen. Beneficial when validating initial product thoughts and design approaches.

Wireframes

A visual representation of the user interface stripped from visual design and branding components used to determine page structure and element hierarchy.

Prototypes

A simulation of a final product commonly using clickable wireframes and page layouts varying from several degrees of fidelity. Primarily used to test if the flow of an application, or website is smooth and consistent, providing insight to user interaction.

Accessibility Testing

Accessibility testing ensures your product follows W3C guidelines and can be used by everyone, including users with disabilities.

UI Kit

A User Interface kit is a compilation of UI elements for the purpose of rapid design and development implementation, speeding up workflow and assisting improved consistency.
